LETTERS

I love receiving letters! The longer the better:) A nice hard copy writing from someone I love:) Although its been ages since I have, even the thought of it makes me feel all fuzzy inside!! Its sad that emails have completely taken over..I agree that they are a much faster and easier way to communicate but there's still a difference..a personal touch.. maybe the spilt ink or the horrid handwriting or maybe just the words that are written continuously without the option to delete what you think isn't appropriate... emails have made us more cautious of what we say to the person on the other end.. may even be a good thing for certain people ;) but on the whole there's always something missing! Fortunately greeting cards havn’t gone out of use! And I don’t think they ever should... e-cards may be quick and animated but they're a far cry! Its the nicest feeling to find some old letter and re-read it... somehow always makes you nostalgic! I still have all the inland lette

LEAVE humor ALONE!! A little sarcasm is fine but somehow the kind of humor that uses a scapegoat has never appealed to me! I think you just plain lack originality when you resort to stuff lik

Why does the milkman distribute first thing in the morning.. the hawkers are in the market at dawn.. fishermen bringing back their catch.. why do kids get up and go to school.. parents rushing to work... where are we all rushing to? and more importantly why are we going to that one place when a new day begins? Are we doing this because we need to sustain our families? What is the driving force? Fear of poverty for some, lack of sufficient needs, want for more for the upper classes... We all tell ourselves this is the life we asked for, this is the life God has given us, this is the life we dreamed of! But amidst all these thoughts, what is it that really matters to us? For a baby just to be held in his mothers arms, for a child it might be going to school to show his friend his new toy, for a teenager to look at his secret crush, for the young adult how he's going to reach his goal, for the middle aged man how he is going to pr
